Geran Khas PRIHATIN (“GKP”) is granted by the Malaysia government to provide a one-off monetary aid of RM3,000 to the micro businesses (Perusahaan Kecil & Sederhana (PKS) mikro) affected by the pandemic of COVID-19. Application for GKP is opened from 1 May 2020 to 15 May 2020, by logging into GKP portal at https://gkp.hasil.gov.my/.
Applicant for GKP must fulfil the following conditions:-
1) Applicant must be a Malaysia citizen;
2) Micro business defined under GKP as follows:
- Annual sales/turnover less than RM300,000; and
- Number of total employees (excluding business owner) less than 5.
3) Business registered with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia (LHDNM) or Local Authority or Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), before 31 December 2019;
4) Business is active when the application is made;
5) Cross-check of business information will be performed by the government with agencies appointed by the Ministry of Finance.
Application must be submitted through GKP portal as manual submission is not accepted.
Result of the application will be available during the first week of June 2020, and expected be paid to your registered bank account in the month of June 2020.
